Batitales Archaeological Centre (Roman domus 4th cent. AD)
1_i Placed in a basement in the central street Doctor Castro, very near from the Plaza Mayor. It keeps the archaeological remains of an important roman house from the 3rd-4th centuries A.D. whose main feature is the fact that it is structured around a small courtyard or peristylum. The most outstanding elements of the ensemble are the important remains of mosaics and mural paintings, which are rather well preserved.
